I'm not in the mood to write at the moment. I know the reason behind it, I think. Though, tomorrow I'll force myself to do some writing because I haven't done any in some time now and I'm like really, really close to the ending of this one. The closest I've ever been when writing a story...
Anyway, there's actually one thing I want to talk about today and that's this awesome fanfiction I've been rereading.
Of course, I've mentioned the YuGiOh GXphase I'm going through at the moment, right? So, I've been rereading some old fanfiction I was really fond of. I think I'll talk about all of them actually, but plot wise, this first one is the best.
It's titled The Rising. It's basically a remake of season 4 of GX, only better, you see, because it was started before the end of season 3, she totally ends that part awesomely, but then carries it on to this new story that's so vastly imaginative it's incredible. So, the story goes something like this (I'm no good at rounding up stories) Jaden got all his friends back from the dark world. But at a risk of his own. The story is really about finding more about Jaden as a character, because in this story, he's some sort of guardian of dimensions and its part of his heritage to become the Overlord of this dimension during a war which he, as part of the rebellion, is trying to put an end to. He's got these special powers, one of which is the ability to adapt to the worlds he's traveling to. Like for instance, the one where most of the fanfiction is spent is in a dimension called Evermore, the home of winged creatures, he gains wings. That kind of thing. Then there's all the secrets he's keeping. And it gets really interesting. It's got a cliffhanger ending, but luckily, we have a sequel, called The Descent, which, isn't actually finished and it doesn't look like it'll be for a while. The authoress isn't sure what she wants with the story at the moment. A writer's block of sorts. I do insist you check them out if you like GX though, she has a few grammar and spelling issues. Typos probably, but don't let that deter you from the immensely large plot she has going her. Though some things aren't really explained at all, and some parts just don't feel like they have a plot at all, just go with the flow! Jaden always knows best!
The next one I really want to talk about it Unforgettable Childhood. Now, this is one of those sadist fanfiction's I tend to read. It's an AU fanfiction, and it's about Jaden parents getting a divorce and the mother remarrying some jerk that does all kinds of shit to Jaden. It was a good fanfic. A lot better than I make it sound!
Also, by the same author of Unforgettable Childhood is A Few Minutes on the Couch. It's MPREG. Meaning, male pregnancy, but it's still a good fanfic. It's Jaden/Jesse, and Jaden's got this issue where he can get pregnant (it's explained better in the fic) and now he's expecting Jesse's baby. I find that it's totally hilarious. It's similar to Juno. One of the only comedy films I'll say I'll actually like. The only comedy film I've liked enough to buy on DVD.
So, anyway, those are the main three fanfictions that I love on that board. I don't know why their so appealing to me.
