The Black Swan

Was weird.

There's really not much else to say about it. I thought that it was quite boring to begin with, but really picked up it's pace by the end of it. So, I think overall, it was a good film. Maybe a film I'll have to see a second time to truly understand and appreciate. I mean, there's obviously something good about it if it's being nominated for all these things.

But yeah, just a quick note. I thought Natalie Portman was amazing in the film. I thought her acting was superb. Actually, I think the acting on a whole was superb. It was really well done and the music was just epic.

Though, I'm not sure if the presentation of the ballet world was a little overdramatic or not. I'm pretty sure it probably was, but you never know, right?

I used to do ballet. I got to like grade four-ish, but the dance school I went to closed down and I never continued it, and to be honest with you, I never even thought about going on with it. So, I probably wasted a good opportunity there. And I just don't care about it.

In other news, well, in other boring news. I've finished all the English episodes of D.Gray Man, meaning I'm now going to start on the Japanese with English subtitles.

That's going to take some time to get used to, considering that I'm so used to the English voices now.
