So, my school took part in a thing called Mind Your Language which was later renamed The Welsh Not, and so I felt, as a student of the school, I should probably watch it.
To be honest with you, I didn't really understand the point of the show... maybe it was me, but it wasn't really heading in any particular sign. I got the point that it was supposed to be about keeping the Welsh language alive, and I got that it was trying to unite the two different sides of the Welsh language. But there really didn't seem to be much of a main focus point.
Maybe it was just me.
Our school kind of came off as a Nazi regime though, not sure if anyone else noticed it, but the whole, getting rid of the English language thing seemed so much worse on TV. So, people now understand what we go through...
Anyway,
So, as I hope I mentioned, I didn't blog Friday night or Saturday night mainly for the reason that I was up in Kingston for the Kingston University open day.
I'm not really sure of what to think of the University. I mean, the campus and everything was really nice, but I wasn't too keen on the lecturers. I felt like they were more focused on bragging about what they have in London and in the department than how good the actual course is.
Then, the English Lit lecturer also admitted that no one actually goes to Kingston as a first choice. People usually go there as a second.
That one was not very comforting.
Anyway, should be back on the writing bandwagon soon...
Night!
