So, I told you yesterday that I'd been reading the book and that I was completely addicted to reading this book.
I finished it today. And, even though it wasn't amazing, it was still a fascinating read.
You know what I mean?
There wasn't really a lot of characterization going on throughout the book, and sometimes I felt as though some of the dialogue was quite cliche.
The plot made up for all of this. I thought the idea behind everything, though it may not be original original to people who've read similar stories, I found that in comparison to some of the books being released at the moment, it was a breath of fresh air to read something so different.
It didn't have any vampires in it! Though there was a mention of vampires, it was basically there just to make fun of them.
One thing I found that the book didn't really explain was why the nine remaining Loric's were being hunted. I didn't understand why they were being hunted. It was hinted that it would be explained in sequels, but it would have been nice to know at least one reason why they were continued to be hunted. Of course, the aliens themselves aren't the resource to the planet. Or are they?
Sorry, felt the need to put that there.
So, I'll be seeing you now.
Good book. I'd definitely recommend it to people who like that sort of thing, not sure about people who don't usually read sci-fi though...
Night!
