I posted a long blog yesterday...

So it only leads to the fact that this is probably going to be a short blog too.

So there's only a few things on my mind at the moment.
1) Danny Phantom
2) School
3) The Bac
4) Monsters of Men
5) Iron Man
6) Music
7) Twitter.
8) Exams
9) Job

Yeah, not much, right?

Well, I'm only really going to be talking about one thing today and that's Monsters of Men. So I kinda forgot to mention yesterday that I bought the third and final installment to the Chaos Walking series by Patrick Ness.

The one and only problem is, I bought it yesterday but it's not supposed to be out until tomorrow.

Not that I'm complaining or anything. I think it's great that I got the  book probably way before others did. But the only problem I have is that I never seem to find the time to read it. The Chaos Walking series is a series that so far I've loved to read slowly, where I love to absorb like every fine detail of the book. So finding that time in a time like this is really impossible. Between school work, revision, school, job hunting and watching Danny Phantom I don't have enough time to do anything.

So I'll give it about two weeks minimum before I finish reading them. Since I'm on study leave two weeks from today.

And before I leave on this randomly short, and pointless, might I add, blog. I have one thing to say, well two technically, but I find this one to be of more importance. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY IN 3 WEEKS. In three weeks I'm finally turning 17. How great is that? Not really, actually, I just feel all the more older.

But moving on, G'Night!

Finally getting around to my blogging.

I know I've been planning to do this blog for like days now, and I've finally arranged some time to do it all.

So, first course of action. *Opens up actual blog to see her list* A certain friend.

Okay, so this one is a bit old now, so putting it into words is going to be quite difficult. This friend, that's not the friend I spoke of (Rhiannon) before, she's the one that I will go to the ends of the earth for, because you know, that's what friends do for each other. As of late, she's been quite annoying. I know all friends have their annoying sides, but this one is really grating on my nerves. She got on my nerves early in the school year as well, but then she apologized, and since then I wondered how could I ever say something like that about her. But, recently the thought has come up again. She only seems to talk about 2 things. Her boyfriend (plus their sex life, something which I really don't want to know) and Rhiannon, and all the Rhiannon talk is really starting to piss me off. I just wish she'd sing a new song, so to speak. It's like as though she hasn't got anything good to talk to us about. I mean, I like a bitch about someone as much as the next person, but to constantly talk about her is quite ridiculous. I'm getting quite tired of it now. Though I'm pretty sure the feeling will pass soon.

Next topic. Man, this is going to be a very random blog post.

Bus trips. I didn't even know I'd been saving to talk about this one. I usually like to have moan about my school bus trips on a Wednesday from my school to Gwyr. If I remember rightly though, this is not why I put it on the list.  Last bus trip, aka last Wednesday, our bus broke down and we had to walk from Gowerton to Penlan. Those two are like two completely different sides of Swansea, but I got my fitness levels up a bit right, so there's no real reason to complain. I think at the time of putting it on the list I had a bit more to talk about it. But now it's just empty. I don't really have much of an opinion on it anymore. Shit happens.

Reminiscing. Something which I've been doing a lot of, you know looking back on the good old days. You know your getting old when you say good old days. By saying that, I mean days where I never really worried about exams, school, life, I was allowed to have obsessions with cartoons and nobody would bat an eyelid at it. Times have changed, right? If I told people that now I would be looked at strangely. Even at the age that I really liked cartoons (is it a bad thing that I consider Danny Phantom to be one of my favourite shows? I think it's a good show, but I guess that's the fantasy geek in me, right?)  it would be strange to say it now..... Anyway, that was something I did primarily last Sunday, so it's mostly gone now.

Which leads me to my next topic of Danny Phantom. I went through a brief faze where I wasn't too bothered about the show, but for some reason after reminiscing on my YuGiOh fandays, I checked out a couple of episodes of Danny Phantom and I've become completely obsessed all over again. It's quite sad, really. But the show is great. It's not the most original or anything, but it's one of them ones where it takes you to a new world and you can forget about the life your living in now and just lose yourself in the show. Which is probably one of the reasons I've started watching it again. It is a great little show, I just wish Nickelodeon would have done more with it. Like made a season 4 where we could see how Danny coped with his new found stardom and how everyone coped with knowing that Danny Fenton was Danny Phantom. Though I guess that's what fanfiction is for, right? And speaking of Danny Phantom, I've been rereading a lot of my old favourite Danny Phantom fanfictions. One of them called Twilight Walking has had me sobbing once again. It's just a sad fanfiction. But some of it is a happy sad. You have to read it to feel it. But I won't post the link in case the author doesn't want it. But if you want to read it it it's on fanfiction.net and it's really amazing. Search Twilight Walking in Danny Phantom....

Now jumping to a completely different topic. Exams. Exams suck, pure and simple and I just can't seem to get motivated to revise for any of them. It's something I plan on doing all the time, but I just never seem to have the time to do it, especially with school homework. My first exam is in like 2 weeks and I don't feel nearly prepared for it. Oh well, I definitely have to revise for them now, even if it means forcing myself to do it.

Speaking along the lines of school, yesterday in Maths I completely embarrassed myself. We were working on a CAST graph. Now, I'm no math genius, so the idea completely boggled me. So I felt like a total douche asking the teacher about why he did such things in front of the class. I hate it when all the other students look back at you and sorta glare at you, and you get the feeling that their thinking, 'why is she being so thick?'. Thoughts like that are usually why I don't like to ask questions in front of the rest of the classroom. It saves all the embarrassment. Good thing I understand them now, right?

Now, for a drastic change of topic. Iron Man 2. That was this weeks cinema trip, and boy was it amazing. The effects, the music, the plot. I just loved everything about it. I might go and see it again in a few weeks when it's not as popular. Just to soak up the film before it goes out of the cinema ready for the release of the DVD. I contemplated writing a proper review on it. But sadly, I think you'd be waiting for a long time so I'll just tell you briefly what I think of it. I thought it was amazing, I would recommend it to anyone who loved Marvel and sci-fi/fantasy sort of stuff.

World Championships are next. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but my friend, her brother and a few others in my dance class got into the World Championships in Irish Dancing. And guess what? MY FRIEND AND HER BROTHER CAME FIRST!!!!!! I'm so happy for them. We're throwing them a big party and everything to celebrate. It's going to be amazing. I can't believe that they won. Jordan especially has been training so hard for this, she totally deserved it. Good on her, and if she so happens to stumble across my post. CONGRATS, JORD, YOU DID GREAT!

Next.
Random picture time! I tend to have random screen capping moments, this time though, before this blog gets TOO LONG I think I'll just post the captions and won't explain them. So that means they'll be pretty random, but I'm sure no one here cares, right?

As you can tell, most of them are random Danny Phantom pictures, but other than that, it's album artwork and a picture of the trending topics on twitter with no Justin Bieber on it. Good times, eh?

And lastly,  (*hears the finally*) Jobs. (*Hears the groan*) I applied for a new job again. There has to be some law against applying for like a bazillion jobs, right? Anyway, a shoe shop called Rowberrys are advertising, so I thought I'd try my luck and apply for the job. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon, right?

Anyway, nothing else new on the homefront.

See you soon, even though no one reads my blog, I'd like to think people are going to stop because of this ridiculously long blog.

Night! Well I'm going to watch more Danny Phantom first, then go to sleep. You can't have everything, right?

I know what I said

But unfortunately, as I said after what I said of definitely having a long post today means that I was totally busy, and I have no time to do it now.

Luckily (or many unluckily) it's Saturday tomorrow, meaning that I'll have a lot of free time, and a lot of extra things to add to the list.

So lets get that list back up, eh?

1) A certain friend.
2) Bus trips

3) Reminiscing.
4) Danny Phantom
5) Exams.
6)Maths
7)Iron Man 2
8) World Championships.
9) I have more Pictures. Yay (*Hears groan in the background*)

So that should take a decent amount of time tomorrow. And as I said, it's a Saturday so I don't have to worry about time unless I stupidly start blogging at 23:23 again.

Yeah, that's just me for you.
Anyway, I don't have much more to say other than...

I'm really excited for Iron Man 2 tomorrow. It looks amazing!

And G'Night! I'm knackered!
Anyway, the only things I want to talk about are in my blog ready for tomorrow. I will

I haven't been able

To control this random urge to rewatch Danny Phantom episodes and re-read Danny Phantom fanfiction. It's unbelievable.

I've reread quite a lot of stuff over the last couple of days.
And I almost forgot to blog, which is the reason it won't be a long post. So I'll have to add yesterdays to talk about to tomorrow's to talk list, and make some new ones to talk about.

This is really going to amount to lengthy post, isn't it? So let me get up yesterday's blog aims for today and write some new ones onto those. It should be fun to talk about random topics, shouldn't it? A change from the usual drib drab. Excuses mainly. Why I can't blog, being tired. Jobless. How much life sucks.

Oh well, before I bore people more than usual, here are the blog aims for tomorrow, I'll start writing my blog early so that I have enough time to talk about everything.

Mind you, I say that, but I always forgot to blog. I always get caught up in fanficiton.

Damned reading habits.

Anyway, blog aims.

1) A certain friend.
2) Bus trips

3) Reminiscing.
4) Danny Phantom
5) Exams.

Now that should keep people interested for a while. Right?

Anyway, before I do get on a tangent. Night!

I feel like

I never get a chance to rest. Do you know what I mean, either I'm sleeping too much and I don't know it or I'm not sleeping enough. It's one of them feelings.

Life just isn't going my way sometimes.

Sorry this isn't going to be a long post today. Though I will put up things that I would like to talk about tomorrow night.

1) A certain friend.
2) Bus trips

But yeah, today has been a complete drag. And now I have to lunch hour tomorrow to see Rowlands because he's going to teach me some Maths.

It all sucks.

Anyway, I'm knackered.

See you tomorrow, for a hopefully longer post. Though I can't make any promises.

Night!

Just a quick blog

Because I seriously have to be getting to sleep.

I totally lost track of time watching Danny Phantom episodes. So I only have so and so amounts of time.

The main thing I'm totally confused about is The Last Song, my sister is forcing me to go and see it on Friday and I'm totally not looking forward to it. It's going to be a drag. To be honest, I don't even remember why I said I was confused. So there, Friday is going to be a depressing day for me. The End.

I can't wait for Iron Man 2 on Saturday. It's gonna be hella amazing! It looks amazing, judging from the trailers anyway. But Clash of the Titans looked pretty decent from the trailers and look how that turned out. It sucked.

Anyway, not much else to talk about. Vampire Diaries was pretty cool. I know, don't knock me here, I know I said that Vampire shows like this are shit, and I acknowledge that it's crap. I just like to watch things like this so that I have a decent argument against it. I like to be up to date on my vampire crap anyway.

But I'm going to bed now. See yas in da morning.
Lol, kidding, I'd never part with such horrific spelling.

See you soon! Night!

The Rise of the Vampires

I have noticed (you'd sorta have to be blind not to) that there has been a rapid increase in Vampires. Vampire literature and Vampire movies in particular.

So lets be honest with ourselves here, I love vampires, but is the kind of vampire rise lately the kind of vampire's we really want?

Do you want a mushy gushy vampire that refuses to drink blood? Nope. Neither do I. I love classic Bram Stoker vampires. Love them would be the word. I love Darren Shan's vampires. I love the Night Watch's vampires. But what about today's vampire's?

Today's vampires usually follow these principles.

  1. They won't drink human blood
  2. The usually fall in love with a human.
It's not difficult to see the overused plot nowadays. Twilight rocked these types of vampire's into stardom, and now rabid 12 year olds think that these are the type of vampire's that everyone should admire.

To me, this is like Jesus committing a sin. Vampire's are not supposed to be all mushy gooshy heroic. Or if they are going to be, at least make it a bit more interesting (Note to Stephenie Meyer, who ruined the Vampire Kingdom), and in my opinion vampires should not feel bad about drinking human blood.

Human blood, to a vampire is its main source of food, right? According to the extensive and painstaking research I did on vampire mythology (in other words Wikipedia). So it's basically blood to a vampire is like a McDonalds to a human. So why do they have a problem with it? If it's their main source of the daily dose, then what's the fear?

I hate vampires like that. Ashamed of who they are. Ashamed of their legacy. Vampire's in my mind should have evil tendencies, have lots of sex, and not really care about the amount of human blood they're drinking....

That is probably a very stereotypical view of a vampire, but it's the way I think they should act.

Come on Vampires. Be proud of who you are! Do not let Twilight, Morganville (well at least in Morganville they do drink blood...., I've currently only read the first book. So I can't really say much on it yet) and all the rest bring you down. Fight for your honour!

Anyway, that's my opinion said in a vague way.

I'll be seeing ya tomorrow.

Night!
